One of Latin America's most influential poultry industry events, FENAVI brought together manufacturers, integrators, producers, and technology providers. With more than 4,000 attendees, over 50 international speakers, approximately 200 sponsors, and representatives from more than 20 countries, the congress demonstrated its importance as a meeting point for the sector.

Connecting with partners across the region

Representing HATO, Barbara IJzerman attended the event to meet existing customers, industry partners, and new contacts from across Latin America. These meetings provided an opportunity to discuss current market developments and identify possibilities for collaboration throughout the region.

Throughout the event, HATO engaged with professionals involved in egg and broiler production, hatcheries, breeding, nutrition, biosecurity, and poultry technology. Their perspectives offered insights into the challenges and opportunities facing the Latin American poultry sector.

This year's congress took place during a period when the Colombian poultry sector was showing resilience and solidarity. The atmosphere extended beyond business, reflecting close collaboration throughout the poultry value chain.

Exploring future opportunities

Alongside the exhibition, the visit included meetings with industry stakeholders and discussions about developments within the Colombian poultry market. These exchanges helped HATO better understand local market needs, emerging trends, and opportunities for long-term collaboration.

Conversations during the event confirmed the industry's continued focus on efficiency, animal welfare, sustainability, and technological innovation. Lighting remains part of that discussion, with the light climate an important consideration in poultry management.
