The Role:

Business Development Manager - Middle East

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager for the Middle East region. In this role, you'll be a strategic partner to your (new) customers, guiding them through specific challenges while keeping HATO’s interests in mind. You’ll be tasked with achieving the company’s growth objectives by leveraging our existing network and seeking new opportunities to showcase our innovative products and services. Your deep understanding of market trends—both ours and your customers'—will enable you to provide expert advice that aligns with their goals.

You'll thrive on traveling and being present with clients, knowing that understanding their needs firsthand is key to offering the right solutions. Additionally, you’ll collaborate closely with colleagues, sharing insights to maximize team success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a Strategic Sales Plan to meet your objectives.
  • Proactively engage with Key Accounts and Prospects to explore and seize opportunities.
  • Manage the quotation process from start to finish.
  • Keep the CRM system fully up-to-date with relevant information.
  • Play an active role in team meetings, contributing ideas to improve performance.
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time traveling to clients.
  • Continuously enhance your knowledge of technical developments and market trends.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Results-oriented with a growth mindset.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Experience in the Agricultural sector.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
