From September 7–9, 2025, HATO proudly participated in the LPN Miami event held at the Broward County Convention Centre in Fort Lauderdale.

With over 2,100 attendees, this premier Latin American poultry exhibition provided a dynamic platform for HATO to strengthen partnerships, showcase innovations, and explore new market opportunities.

Strengthening Dealer & Partner Collaboration

HATO’s team - Barbara Ijzerman, Cristabel Huerta, and Simon Lague - joined forces with key partners at their booths, with a special collaboration with PIS Miami, being able to capture powerful testimonials from PIS team members coming from their customers, emphasizing HATO’s unmatched product quality, benefits and service.

HATO’s team also delivered on-site presentations, product demos, and workshops on the HATO Partner App and HATO-ONE, reinforcing our commitment to dealer support and customer engagement.

Regional Engagements & New Opportunities

HATO met with key stakeholders across Latin America bringing great opportunities for poultry producers seeking for efficiency and smart lighting solutions that help them to increase productivity, not only from operations point of view but by improving animal welfare and performances.

Being colour lighting a key aspect that steers the desired behaviour of birds in the farm and light distribution being a key factor for the optimal use of the housing.

We are also now engaged with the Dairy sector in Central America to bring our Lactivus Technology which contributes to improving the welfare of dairy cattle and therefore increasing milk production.

Genetic Lines & Integrator Partnerships

We have attended the technical talk of Braulio J. Ruiz Poblete from LOHMANN BREEDERS GMBH about Manejar la luz marca la diferencia en producción de huevos”, which has been a great contribution into the layer sector.  He considered aspects that go beyond a lighting programme, such as light colour, spectrum and flickering, which can be measured and improved to achieve better results. He has featured HATO research, indirectly endorsing our lighting expertise.

At the other hand, holding meetings with Aviagen opened doors for educational collaborations in México and Central America, showing the success achieved with the South American team, by sharing our HATO Insights at technical schools on regional routes we can engage more with the end-users, by giving technical talks the audience could learn how to achieve an optimal light climate that improves animal behaviour, performance and production.

OEM & System Partner Developments

Discussions with cage, system builders, and climate systemswe brought ideas and collaborations to keep spreading the awareness on the importance of lighting in livestock farms. We focused on onboarding strategies, technical training, and product alignment within our Partners and they dealers.

Final Thoughts

While the event’s footfall was modest, the quality of interactions and strategic outcomes were exceptional. HATO’s presence reinforced our role as a trusted lighting partner across Latin America. Education, collaboration, and innovation remain central to our growth strategy - and LPN Miami 2025 proved we’re on the right path.
