The Operations Director is ultimately responsible for the entire operational process within a rapidly growing organization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on operational management, focusing on achieving growth, efficiency and possibly integrating acquired businesses.
The Operations Director directly contributes to achieving the organization's ambitious growth objectives by initiating, implementing and optimizing operational processes.
Core responsibilities
- Leading the operational management team,
- Directing the entire operational process: service, logistics, production, demand & supply, development and HR.
- Independently managing and realizing business acquisitions and integration projects.
- Implementing improvement initiatives and innovative ideas, actively involving teams in the change process.
- Ensure continuous optimization of processes and achievement of operational KPIs.
- Proactively report to the CEO on progress, results and bottlenecks.
- Ensure a safe, motivating and results-oriented work environment.
Desired profile
- At least 10 years of experience in a managerial operational position, preferably in a high-growth and/or international environment.
- Excellent knowledge of operational management and process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills, combined with pragmatic and solution-oriented action.
- Ambitious personality with a clear vision and the ability to translate this into concrete actions.
- Leadership style: direct, motivating, inspiring, and able to get people on board with change.
- Communicatively strong, with a natural drive for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
