The Role:

Field Service Engineer

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support, with the main goal of elevating HATO’s service level. You’ll ensure our lighting solutions are properly installed, continue to function optimally, and contribute to improved results for our customers-keeping them satisfied. You’ll also proactively suggest improvements to our products and services. 

You’ll work closely with customers to resolve technical issues and ensure our solutions 
perform at their best. Additionally, you’ll provide training and/or instructions on the correct use and maintenance of the delivered equipment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work both independently and as part of a team, while traveling to various locations. 

Key competencies and skills

• Minimum MBO diploma in a technical field or equivalent experience
• Strong technical skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills (Dutch, English, and preferably Spanish) and a 
  customer-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel and work at different locations
• Flexibility and resilience under pressure
• Good documentation skills
